How Donations Are Used
Donations support the charitable work described on this website, including child health care, rehabilitation, school support, nutrition, emergency support, caregiver support, outreach, field operations, administration, and the systems needed to deliver and account for that work.
When a donor gives to a specific appeal or named purpose, we make reasonable efforts to use the gift for that purpose. If a need is fully funded, no longer available, or cannot be carried out as described, we may use the gift for similar charitable work that supports children and families.
One-Time And Monthly Gifts
Donors choose whether a gift is one-time or monthly before going to the secure payment page. Monthly gifts continue according to the amount and schedule selected by the donor until the recurring gift is cancelled or the payment method fails.
Donors are responsible for reviewing the amount, frequency, payment method, and contact details before completing payment. The payment page and receipt are intended to make clear whether the gift is one-time or recurring.
Receipts And Tax Questions
Donors usually receive an electronic confirmation or receipt from the payment processor or from the foundation. Tax treatment depends on the donor’s country, the foundation’s registration status, and applicable law. We do not provide personal tax advice, so donors can consult a qualified advisor about whether a gift is deductible.
Refund Requests
Charitable donations are generally final once processed. We will review refund requests made because of a processing error, duplicate gift, incorrect amount, unauthorized transaction, or other clear mistake. Donors can contact us as soon as possible and include the donor name, email used, donation date, amount, and reason for the request.
Refund decisions are made case by case. Payment processor fees, bank fees, currency conversion, and transfer timing may affect whether a refund can be completed or the amount returned. Donors can contact us promptly before the next scheduled charge to stop a recurring gift.
Secure Payment Processing
Online donations are processed through secure third-party payment services such as Stripe. The foundation does not store full card numbers on this website. The payment processor may apply its own terms, security checks, fraud prevention, and payment method rules.
