This year, as part of our annual outreach effort, we visited Masese Island on March 19, 2024. During our visit, we met many children under the age of 18 with various disabilities. We were able to provide these children with essential items such as shoes, bags, clothes, and blankets. Additionally, we gave sanitary pads to the girls, ensuring they had the necessary supplies for their health and comfort.
Following our visit to the island, we went to Masese Lake Site Primary School. Here, we discovered about 160 students who were in vulnerable situations. We distributed educational supplies to them, including exercise books, pencils, long rulers, pens, and again, sanitary pads for the girls. These materials are crucial for their learning and daily school activities.
